The students come from many technical centres specialized in wood technology and wood building in Colombia. This experience represents an opportunity to follow a training in wood technology and wood building, and also to discover wood culture and industry in France and in Europe.

The programme is managed by the Academy of Wood Science and Technology teachers and by teachers of the University of Nantes and Napier University in Scotland (Edinburgh). Colombian students have visited wood companies in Pays de la Loire area: Gautier, Piveteau, Charpentes of Atlantique, Frances Poutres, Minco, Génésis, Atelier Perrault, CID.
